Powerful 1500W Brushless Motor
The high-efficiency 1500W brushless, permanent magnet motor delivers up to 47 lbs thrust, providing excellent acceleration and performance for a wide variety of watercraft. Depending on the hull design, load, and water conditions, speeds of around 9.3mph may be achieved.

Lightweight & Portable
At only 3.9 lbs (1.78 kg) including cables, the K4 Sport is incredibly easy to transport. The compact design installs in seconds using the included quick-release mounting base and fits most paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, inflatable boats, and other small watercraft.
Quiet, Efficient Operation
The efficient brushless motor delivers smooth, quiet performance with very little maintenance required. Cruise comfortably at moderate speeds for extended outings or switch to full power whenever extra speed is needed.
Saltwater Ready
The K4 Sport is designed for both freshwater and saltwater use. Simply rinse the motor with fresh water after saltwater use to maximize its service life.
Battery Information
The K4 Sport uses an external 48V battery. The battery is not included, so you can purchase one separately.
IMPORTANT: 48V Battery Requirements!!! When using a third-party battery with this electric fin, make sure the battery meets ALL of the following requirements:
- 48V battery with a fully charged voltage not exceeding 55V.
- BMS capable of at least 35A continuous discharge. Battery capacity such as 20Ah, 25Ah or 30Ah is separate from the BMS discharge rating. Check the battery specifications for a continuous discharge/BMS rating of 35A or higher.
- Built-in anti-spark/inrush protection. Check the battery specifications to confirm this feature.
If the battery does not have built-in anti-spark protection, an external anti-spark/pre-charge solution must be used. One option is an XT90-S anti-spark connector, installed between the battery and electric fin.
IMPORTANT: Do not assume every battery advertised as "48V" is compatible. After fully charging the battery, we strongly recommend measuring its actual voltage with a multimeter before connecting it to the electric fin. The fully charged voltage must not exceed 55V. Batteries above 55V can damage the electric fin controller and must not be used. Damage caused by an incompatible or over-voltage battery is not covered under warranty.
To protect the battery from water, place it inside an optional dry box or small cooler. Affordable dry boxes are available at Harbor Freight and many other stores. The K4 Sport includes a battery connector with a short wire. Simply drill a small hole in the dry box, feed the wire inside, connect it to the battery, and seal the hole with silicone or another waterproof sealant. Installation takes just a few minutes.

- IMPORTANT: Please inspect and test your K4 e-fin promptly after delivery. Before placing it in water, connect the battery and controller and briefly activate the motor to confirm that the motor and steering are working properly. Do not run the e-fin outside of water for more than 30 seconds. If you notice any issue, please contact us immediately and provide a short video showing the problem.
